What an AI Visibility Audit Should Cost — and How to Judge a Quote

← Part of the full guide: Why AI Doesn’t Recommend Your Brand

อ่านภาษาไทย →

TL;DR: AI visibility work in Thailand ranges from a few thousand baht to six figures a month, and most agencies quote on request. This page does not compare vendors’ prices. It gives you the criteria to judge a quote you are already holding, explains what actually drives the spread, lists the terms worth walking away from, and publishes our own rates in full — Audit THB 2,000 with a 7-day money back, Audit + WebFix THB 20,000, monthly partnership THB 18,000.

Why a straight price comparison does not work

There is no standard definition of an AI visibility audit. One firm means an automated five-page report; another means twenty-five fixed questions across four platforms plus implementation on your site. A tenfold price difference can be reasonable in both directions. Comparing numbers without comparing scope produces the wrong conclusion.

We also will not publish a vendor-by-vendor price table, because many agencies do not list rates publicly. Guessing on their behalf and printing a figure would put inaccurate information about other companies into the world. The useful thing we can do instead is give you criteria to apply to the quotes you actually receive.

What drives the price difference

Variable Lower-cost shape Higher-cost shape
Questions actually run 5 to 10, or unspecified 25 or more, fixed wording
Platforms covered ChatGPT only ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews
Baseline before work starts None — measured only afterwards Measured before and after with identical questions
Competitor comparison Your brand only Records which competitors were named instead of you
Implementation Report handed over for your team to action Code, schema and page structure changed for you
Off-site work Touches only your own website Business listings, directories and third-party sources corrected

The two bottom rows are the ones buyers overlook. A quote that details on-site fixes but never mentions business listings or third-party sources addresses half the problem. We learned this on ourselves — see the self-test where we scored zero despite 22 published pages.

Six tests to run on any quote

1. Does it name the questions and how many?

Ask to see the question list. If the answer is that it is proprietary, ask how you are meant to compare month against month without knowing what was measured. The set has to stay fixed, or this month’s number and next month’s number are not comparable.

2. Is there a measurement before work begins?

Without a baseline there is no way to separate improvement you paid for from movement the platforms produced on their own. This single question eliminates more weak proposals than any other.

3. Fixed price or open-ended?

A fixed price against a written scope is comparable and budgetable. Hourly billing with no cap tends to drift in this category, because there is no clearly defined finish line.

4. Does it disclose platform ceilings?

If your site runs on a builder that limits control over raw HTML and structured data, there is a maximum score achievable. An agency that does not raise this will keep billing you to chase points the platform will never allow. In one of our cases the ceiling was 72 out of 100 on a Wix SPA with a 6.75% HTML ratio.

5. What exactly is guaranteed?

Guaranteeing that ChatGPT will recommend your brand is not a product anyone can deliver — there is no paid placement in these answers. A quote that guarantees outcomes inside a system the vendor does not control is a reason to walk. What can be guaranteed is scope, delivery date, and a refund if the work is not delivered.

6. Can you see a real report?

Ask for a redacted sample. Look for before-and-after figures per dimension, a list of work actually shipped, and an acknowledgement of limitations. A report containing only good news is a report that did not measure anything.

Our rates, in full

Package What you get Price
AI Visibility Audit Full AIVS Score report across five dimensions plus a 30-minute call, delivered in 24 hours THB 2,000 — 7-day money back
Big Win — Audit + WebFix Audit plus implementation across crawlability, page structure and schema THB 20,000
Monthly partnership Re-measurement each month with the identical question set, plus ongoing work THB 18,000 per month

The entry price sits at THB 2,000 because measurement should be cheap enough for a small business to try without a large commitment. Most buyers do not know where they stand before measuring, and forcing a five-figure decision to find out is an unnecessary barrier.

The scoring rubric behind the report is published in full at the AIVS methodology page. You can calculate it yourself, and if your figure disagrees with our report, that is ours to explain.

Where to start at each budget

  • Under five thousand baht — buy measurement only. Do not buy remediation yet, because you do not know what needs remediating. A good report gives your own team a work order for part of the fixes.
  • Tens of thousands — measure and fix in one pass. This suits a site that has never been touched for AI visibility, since the first pass usually produces the largest score movement.
  • Monthly retainer — appropriate after the first pass, when the question becomes whether competitors are moving. Signing a retainer before any measurement is paying before you know the problem.

The most common way to waste money here is commissioning a large volume of content before checking whether bots can reach the site at all. If they cannot, none of that content will ever be read. Test that first with can ChatGPT see my website.

CiteLogics — fixed price, published rubric

Frequently asked questions

What does an AI visibility audit cost in Thailand?

The range is very wide, from a few thousand baht to six figures monthly, because the term has no standard definition. Compare scope rather than headline price — questions run, platforms covered, whether a baseline exists, and whether implementation is included. Ours starts at THB 2,000.

Why do some agencies not publish prices?

Scope varies enormously with site size and starting condition, so many firms quote after a conversation. The drawback is that buyers cannot compare offers easily. The fix is to ask every vendor to quote against an identical scope — same question count, same platforms.

Does a low price mean low quality?

Not necessarily. A lower price often means a narrower scope, such as measurement without implementation, which suits teams that already have technical capacity. What deserves suspicion is a low price paired with a guarantee of results, since no one can guarantee placement in AI answers.

Should I start with an audit or go straight to a retainer?

If you have never measured, start with a single measurement. Signing a monthly contract before knowing the problem is paying before diagnosis. Retainers make sense after a first pass, when the question becomes whether competitors are moving against you.

Can I get a refund if it does not work?

It depends what the refund is tied to. A refund tied to delivery of the agreed work is normal and worth insisting on. A refund tied to outcomes inside AI systems should raise suspicion, because no vendor controls those systems. Ours covers the audit for 7 days.
